About the Team
This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.
What you can look forward to as a Perception Engineer:
a. Participate in the development of L2 / L3 intelligent driving (ADAS) perception and sensor fusion algorithms
b. Analyze customer requirements and define corresponding software requirements
c. Develop sensor perception and multi-sensor fusion algorithms using C/C++
d. Develop ISA / map-based localization algorithms using C/C++
Verify algorithm implementation through simulation and real-vehicle testing
e. Analyze and resolve issues identified during internal testing and customer testing
Your Profile as a Perception Engineer:
a. Master’s degree or above (current students or fresh graduates); majors include Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Vision, or related fields
b. Solid foundation in mathematics and algorithms; familiarity with or knowledge of Bayesian methods, Kalman filtering, convex optimization, etc.
c. Proficient in C++ programming with strong coding skills
d. Familiarity with Python and Linux environments is a plus
e. Ability to use CMake / Makefile for project build and management
f. Familiar with AUTOSAR architecture design, capable of collaborating with basic software teams to complete functional software architecture design
g. Learning or practical experience in perception systems; experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:Object detection/CNN / R-CNN/Scene segmentation/Lane detection/Traffic light detection
h. Basic English reading and writing skills
