Student Intern

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. Key Responsibilities: In this role, the Graduate Student Intern will support testing and validation activities for NX CAM Classic, NX X Manufacturing, and Teamcenter X (TC X) products.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  • Perform automated regression test analysis  • Support final product validation activities  • Validate customer problem reports (PRs)  • Conduct SLED testing  • Review customer PRs and identify opportunities to create new automated test cases  • Assist the Shanghai development team with CAM project test execution and product enhancement activities, as needed Required Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a master’s or other graduate-level degree program at an accredited university  • Academic background in mechanical manufacturing, mechatronics, or related discipline  • Exposure to CAM-related coursework and a strong interest in manufacturing technologies  • Good command of written and spoken English  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment  Preferred Qualifications:  • Basic programming knowledge in C++, Python or Java script  • Experience with NX CAD, NX CAM, or other similar 3D CAD/CAM software applications
