Job Summary Join Ingersoll Rand’s AcceleratedDevelopment Program and contribute to next-generation industrial equipment anddigital solutions. The role combines electrical control, product development,industrial software, AI, and IoT, with structured development toward futuretechnical expert or engineering leadership roles. Responsibilities -Participate in electrical system design for industrial equipment, includinglow-voltage components, motors, VFDs, sensors, starter panels, and controlcabinets. - Support PLC programming, HMI development, control logic design,electrical schematic design, BOM release, testing, and troubleshooting. -Contribute to New Product Development and i2V/value engineering activities,including CTQ definition, DFMEA, DVPR, design reviews, andverification/validation. - Collaborate with global engineering teams,suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, andcost-effective solutions. - Participate in engineering digitalizationinitiatives, including AI-enabled engineering tools, workflow automation,knowledge management, and data analysis. - Support Industrial IoT andconnected-product projects, including system integration, field validation, andcontinuous improvement. - Analyze product and field issues, identify rootcauses, implement corrective actions, and capture lessons learned. - Ensuredesigns comply with applicable regional standards and support productcertification activities where required. Key Competencies - Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering,Mechatronics, Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline. - Solidfundamentals in electrical circuits, control systems, power electronics,motors, sensors, or industrial automation. - Basic exposure to one or more ofthe following is preferred: PLC/HMI, VFD, industrial communication, electricalCAD, Python, C/C++, or data analytics. - Interest in AI, industrial IoT,engineering digitalization, and smart connected products. - Strong analyticalthinking, hands-on problem solving, and learning agility. - Good communicationand teamwork skills and ability to work effectively in a global andcross-functional environment. - Good written and spoken English.
