Job Summary Participate in Centrifugal ETO(Engineering To Order) project design for integrally geared centrifugalcompressor products applied to Air Separation and Process Gas industries.Develop engineering capability covering design philosophy, specifications,project implementation, and customer documentation. Collaborate with functionalteams to deliver engineered centrifugal packages by ensuring customer needs aresatisfied and regional regulatory compliance is achieved. The focus of thisposition is ETO system design, cost control, and business support.Responsibilities - Attend kick-off meetings with the customer to clarify andconfirm requirements and/or present deviations. - Review customer documentationand specifications and coordinate with design engineers to ensure contractrequirements are met. - Join package design and technical document preparationwith engineers, submit documentation, and negotiate deviations fromspecifications. - Assist the team with handling customers during inspections,contract review meetings, and performance tests. - Control technical changesand provide technical support for fabrication vendors and - Assist projectexecution teams to review processes within the team and provide technicalclarification with customers. - Support Project Manager to determine risks anddelivery impacts of customer change orders. - Comply with Ingersoll Randpolicies, disciplines, and standard work processes. Key Competencies - Master’sdegree or above in Engineering, Fluid Machinery, Chemical MechanicalEngineering, or related fields. - Familiar with centrifugal product research,engineering process, and system study. - Knowledge of international codes forair separation and process gas machinery is preferred. - Knowledge ofinternational pressure vessel and piping design codes is preferred. - Globalresearch study experience is preferred. - Computer systems and basic officeapplication knowledge, including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. -Experience with AutoCAD, NX/UG, CFD, and FEA is preferred. - Flexibility tohandle multiple projects of varying size and scope. - Capability to quickly andefficiently understand and organize information to make decisions. -Customer-facing communication and presentation skills. - Proactive team playerwith a desire to build effective working relationships with cross-functionalteams.
