The Test Technology department belongs to the ENC Industrial Technology and Quality and is responsible for the development of Ericsson's wireless product production testing systems. The Developer Radio position within the Test Technology department is responsible for research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient and high-quality production test system including evaluation of test requirements, definition of test solution, analysis of test results, verification of testing systems, improvement of test yield rates, and the research and introduction of new industry technologies. 1 Responsibilities The main responsibilities are: • Collaborate with the Technology Beijing team to support RF-related tasks in maintenance products, Support Radio engineers to ensure smooth implementation of testing solutions, for instance, Test time reduction, DB check and Yield analysis. • Responsible for lab up and running to secure RU replacement quickly and smoothly. • Responsible for test system verification and calibration in PTD_BJ lab to guarantee the test accuracy and stability. • Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in Ericsson Company and the Test Technology organization. • Bring up new culture and energy into the team to enhance overall team sprits with young guys. 2 Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in communication engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic Field and Microwave. • Strong understanding of the theory and practical implementation of wireless communication systems. • Familiarity with the basic operational principles of various functional blocks in the uplink and downlink of wireless communication systems. Practical experience in the development or testing of receivers and transmitters is preferred. • Familiarity with mobile communication systems and the meanings of key RF performance indicators as well as the principles of measurement is preferred. • Experience with RF measurements and proficiency in using Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, and other RF measurement equipment is preferred. • Familiarity with circuit design and simulation; knowledge of digital communication protocols such as I2C and SPI; experience with SerDes interface design and testing. • Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++. • Strong problem analysis and solving skills. • Excellent communication skills and social ability, with a strong team player mindset. • Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative, and proactive. • Fluent in English speaking, understanding, and writing. • Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office. • Relevant internship or project experience is preferred.
